Service Terminal Rotterdam

About Us

The S for Safety, Service and Sustainability

Service Terminal Rotterdam (STR) is an independent liquid bulk terminal located in the Botlek area of the Port of Rotterdam. With a storage capacity of 240,000 cbm and extensive quay facilities, we specialize in the storage and handling of marine fuels, including Gas Oil, Fuel Oil and Biofuels.

For many years, STR has supported ship owners, charterers, traders, bunker suppliers and port agents with reliable storage and marine services. Our strategic location and flexible operations enable us to provide customers with efficient solutions tailored to their specific needs.

At STR, Safety is at the core of everything we do. We believe that every operation must be carried out safely, responsibly and professionally. Through strict operational standards, continuous training and a strong safety culture, we strive to provide a safe working environment for our employees, customers and partners.

What truly defines STR, however, is our dedication to service. In many ways, the "S" in STR stands for Service. Our experienced team works hard every day to make our customers' operations as straightforward and hassle-free as possible. We believe in short lines of communication, practical solutions and a hands-on approach. Whether it is storage, vessel support, cargo transfers, inerting services or logistical challenges, our goal is always the same: to take care of the details, so our customers can focus on their business.

We are equally committed to reducing our environmental impact, so the "S" in STR is also more and more about Sustainability. As the energy transition continues to reshape the maritime industry, STR actively supports more sustainable fuel solutions and continuously seeks opportunities to improve its environmental performance. By embracing innovations and alternative fuels, we aim to contribute to a cleaner future for the port and shipping industry.

At STR, we do more than provide tank storage. We build long-term partnerships based on trust, reliability and a genuine commitment to our customers' success.
